Marketing Cadence For Small and Medium Business

Cadence – both on a bike and in marketing are important.

If you are a cyclist you know what cadence is and how important this metric is in your performance and marketing cadence is just as important.  As a business owner or marketing manager having a pre-determined cadence of your marketing efforts will greatly reduce unneeded strain on your marketing team and will also deliver a much better results to your customers and bottom line.  In essence, you should be able to answer these questions:

  1. When will you be emailing your customers – daily, weekly, monthly?  What day of the week?  What time?
  2. When will you be making social media posts – spontaneously, daily, weekly?
  3. When will you be producing content to your blog – daily, weekly, monthly?

In most companies, this list will not be substantial; however, making the list and defining what and when you are going to be blowing your horn is very important.  Luckily the data to make these decisions is right at your fingertips by reviewing the analytics provided by your ESP (email service provider), Google Analytics, social media metric dashboards, etc.  If you are needing help in this area, please contact us.
